Keeping Your Posture

Keeping Your Posture

Keeping posture

Here is a real simple drill to help you create the feeling you need to maintain your posture lines during your swing.

Take a medium iron and turn it upside down and hold the head with your lead or front hand. Let your trail hand and arm hang down and get your body into good golf posture.

A

From here rotate your body and arm back into backswing making sure you maintain your postural lines.

B

Now swing down and let your swinging arm go under the arm that is holding the club. Once again pay attention to maintaining the posture lines.

C

Apart from being a nice drill to get you focused on the feeling you want to have in your swing it can be used as a one of your dynamic stretches you may have before playing.
