About Powerscourt Golf Club

Powerscourt Golf Club is located half an hour south of Dublin in Powerscourt Estate, in what is truly one of the most unique settings you can play in Ireland! The Club is located on the historic 1,000 acre Powerscourt Estate, which dates back to the 12th century. The courses are lush and green and truly give a sense of why County Wicklow is called the Garden of Ireland! An abundance of 200 year old trees frame the courses which offer stunning views to the sea and Sugar Loaf Mountain.

While the surroundings are lush and peaceful, it is the courses which keep our golfers happy and coming back 🙂 Powerscourt offers, not one, but two Championship Golf Courses. The East Course hosted the 1998 Irish PGA and the 2001 Irish Seniors Open. Talented golfer and successful Walker Cup captain Peter McEvoy designed the East Course which is a testing and rewarding challenge for all levels of golfers. The West Course was designed by David Mclay Kidd, whose portfolio includes the acclaimed Bandon Dunes in Oregan. Like the East, the West offers a variety of challenging holes which won’t disappoint! After soaking up the scenery and enjoying a round of golf, unwind with a cool pint of Guinness in the panoramic bar and restaurant in the club house. It really is an exceptional venue to play, and we get fantastic feedback from those who play here as you can tell from our visitor reviews below.
