The Golf Digest Volvo Mid-Summer Open takes place in Powerscourt Golf Club’s East Course on the 28th of July. The event is one of twelve Golf Digest tournaments across Ireland in 2013.
Designed by former player and successful Walker cup captain Peter McEvoy, the East Course at Powerscourt in County Wicklow is a testing and rewarding challenge for all levels of golfers. It has true championship pedigree, having hosted the 1998 Irish PGA and the 2001 Irish Seniors Open.
Entry costs €70 per player and is open to all who wish to participate. Only golfers with an official GUI or ILGU handicap can enter the main competition, but all participants can win novelty and raffle prizes.
All Category winners go through to the Grand Final and will be in with a chance to lift the biggest trophy in the history of Irish sport – The Golf Digest Volvo Champions Cup! For full event information and booking visit www.powerscourt.ie/golf-events
