“We recently had a Golf Outing at the Powerscourt Golf Club and everyone was so pleased with the quality of the course, the location and the surrounding beauty. It’s truly a beautiful Golf Course. Staff are amazing, so helpful and accommodating and the Golf Pro and Golf Manager a pleasure to deal with very professional and very well run Club. “Powerscourt Golf Club is an absolutely stunning location. The Clubhouse is particularly special with spectacular views onto the courses. The staff were really flexible and very accommodating for our group from Belgium. The food was delicious and served promptly as time wise we were under some pressure.The feedback from the group was really positive. “This was an experience I enjoyed immensely. The day I played the course it was very windy but it made little impact. The fairways were so good it was like walking on a mattress but firm enough to let the ball carry. The shape of all but possibly 3 of the holes was challenging and the 16th, 17th, and 18th were absolutely wonderful bringing your lay up abilities to the fore on the 17th in particular. The greens were large and challenging and the rough was as it should be…rough. After the round, the food and service didn’t disappoint either. “We played this beautiful course recently with 3 French friends who loved the variety of the challenging holes and the stunning landscape with views of mountains and glimpses of the Irish sea. “I can’t decide which of the Powerscout course I prefer. Magnificent layout on both, there are slightly more hills on the West, though you couldn’t describe it as a very hilly course. The greens are a little more undulating than the East – tricky! Best thing is to play both. Magnificent courses, kept in immaculate condition, these are two must-play courses.
